Shiftable OMSP's Sims, Sims 2, Sims 4 custom content
What you need is an OMSP -- A One More Slot Package object. This allows you to place objects on the OMSP during buy mode. Then when you switch to play mode, the OMSP becomes invisible. It appears in the Surfaces --> Misc. To use the object, place it on the floor. It will appear as a red/white checkered object.

Cop-A-Feel: Loveseat OMSP. Cop-A-Feel is a loveseat OMSP positioned to be used with a twin bed. The only thing I changed was the position of the slots so this will have all of the normal interactions a loveseat has and your sims will use this autonomously just like the chair omsps. It goes in My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Collections. The icon is purple with black lettering saying "OMSP". What's in the downloads? There are two files available.
